Sometimes but not always my temp meter will drop down to the bottom indicating cold but this happens well after the car is warmed up and it even happens during freeway driving. I've seen the needle bounce as it drops like your RPM needle does when you rev. Idea Could it be my thermostat? And if so where is it? Confused

Sounds like a bad connection on the temp sensor. The little 'tab' connector is known to rust off.

female spade connectors will solve the problem, just did my brothers car, the temp and oil sensor both rusted off. Do yourself a favour and cut back some of the hard grey tubing around the wire, it will prolong the connection.

Ha ha

On mine, the little metal 'tab' rusted off the sensor and was still in the end of the wire connector.

Evil or Very Mad I used a "twist tie"! Twisted one end around the end of the sensor and shoved the other end into the connector.

It's still working!!!! Laughing
