97' Toyota Paseo (2nd-gen 93hp / 100lbs trq)
0 - 60km time --> 9.9 seconds
Source: http://www.edmunds.com/used/1997/toyota/paseo/510/specs.html
* Eh 9.9 seconds is respectible for a car with only 93 horses. Let's bring a warm welcome for lightweight |
Since the first gen weighs 300 lbs less and has 7 more horse, 1st gen 0-60 should be slightly quicker. |

Eh Zoo's, It was my understanding that the second generation paseo actually weighed LESS than the first gen. Could I be mistaken?? I thought that the 2nd Gen seo had a curb weight of 2025lbs. _ and the 1st Gen 2070 lbs.
Do you have any links to the info you've found on the 1st Gens Weight? _________________ 2nd Gen - 1998 Seo' |

it was off this http://www.cars-directory.net/specs/toyota/cynos/
However, as Riko666 would say, the specs are for JDM and Euro markets. But USDM had the shit models, so the specs are almost accurate. |

| however, i'm not sure though. but i think it would make more sense that older models would weigh less since they had less options, and less safety... for example my friggin 2 pt harness for the passenger!!! and later to come find out that the canadian models came with 3 pt on the passenger side! |

You are definitly right about the safety. I know that my Paseo came standard with dual front airbags, which would make a difference no doubt. However, I still have manual windows, locks, and no A/C. Specifications differentiate on almost every other website. It is hard to say what the true specs are. The only way to know for sure.... Owners manual. _________________ 2nd Gen - 1998 Seo' |

I don't think your the only one, trust me. When i bought my car used, there was no owners manual anywhere to be found. Luckily a local Toyota Dealership had a shelf of used/old owners manuals, and there just happened to be one laying around for my 98 seo'. _________________ 2nd Gen - 1998 Seo' |

| That's kewl how he did that swap. I'm curious though if he went to all that trouble to fit a 4AGE into the paseo why he wouldn't have dumped in a 20v? |
